Kickboxing by definition is is a combination of kicking and punching developed from karate, Muay Thai and boxing. You can find classes for Kickboxing that range in style from the serious martial art of Muay Thai to more of a light-hearted cardio kickboxing class.
At BRKKA (Boca Raton Karate & Kickboxing) we offer the best of both worlds. We teach kickboxing based on Muay Thai form, so what you learn is proper technique which will minimize risk of injury. Kickboxing is incorporated into our Kenpo Karate practice, teaching self-defense, while you also benefit from the cardio aspect as well.
