A very dedicated student just asked for an abs workout that can be done at home. I have just the perfect thing.  Your abs and core are very important  for training in the Martial Arts.  You core muscles keep you standing tall, balanced and they protect you from injury.

40 leg lifts – feet 1″ off ground, raised to 45 degree angle. Hands under hips for back support.

25 froggers (knee ins) – again, feet 1″ off ground, hands under hips for support

100 crunches. Legs in air, chin away from chest, hands loosely supporting head/neck.

50 reverse crunches – heels up to ceiling, lift hips slightly off ground.

Balance on butt bone with feet raised off the ground. With a weight in hand, twist side to side, keeping feet off ground and balanced. 25 each side.

25 simultaneous crunches/reverse crunches.

Be sure to stretch out your abs when done in cobra position.
