We all want a safe world and to live and to raise our family in a community where we are worry and stress free from violence. But the reality is that no matter where you live, there can be violence and we should all have some training in self-defense. Victims are rarely random. Many physical attacks occur by someone known or a victim that the attacker has watched for a period of time.
Confidence is a key to not being a victim. A little kickboxing and self-defense training can go a long way in this case. Awareness of surroundings, confident and tall posture, focused intent. All these unspoken signals tell a potential attacker that this person might not be an easy conquest. Hopefully it deters the attacker – or at least encourages him to move on.
