Circuit Training at BRKAA – Feb 28, 2012

Ready to burn several hundred calories!?  Join us tonight at the Boca Raton Karate & Kickboxing Academy for a 1-hour circuit training workout that gets you sweating and keeps you moving while having fun.  7:00 – 8:00 pm.

Here’s tonight’s workout:

3 circuits of 4 exercises/stations: 50 seconds on, 10 seconds to change stations.  In-between each circuit, .25 mile run, for a total of .75 miles.

Circuit #1:

Squats with exercise ball behind back, against wall or mirror and front raises with 5lb weights

Plank with side dips

Agility Ladder foot work

Jab/cross shuffle in/out with wavemaster

Circuit #2:

Squats with 5lb weights – as you straighten legs, lift weights to chin and then up to shoulder press.

Leg lifts, supporting lower back with hands

Agility Ladder foot work

Front kick/roundhouse kick with wavemaster

Circuit #3

Alternating front lunges with bicep curls – 5 lb weights

Reverse Curls

Agility Ladder foot work

Combo punches/kicks on wave master
